We’re not quite sure what will come out of this one – but one thing is for certain, Eden Hazard is set to miss a significant amount of playing time for Chelsea over the coming weeks (and perhaps months?). Hazard has 6 league goals and 11 league assists this season, contributing 127 fantasy points, the fifth best score in the Fantasy Premier League game for midfielders, and just 10 points behind teammate Juan Mata’s 137 points – which is best amongst all midfielders.
Hazard is owned by 25% of fantasy managers and will be suspended for Chelsea’s next 2 league games – at Reading and at Newcastle. With Victor Moses at the African Cup of Nations, if Hazard’s suspension is increased by the FA after further review, the likes of Oscar and potentially even Marko Marin, could see significant playing time increases.
