Mladen Petric is cheaper [6.3m] and selected by more teams [12%] so that’s why we’ve gone with Fulham new man Dimitar Berbatov [6.9m] as this week’s Funny Feeling Friday selection.
Berbatov is owned by only 2% of Fantasy Premier League managers – an appallingly low percentage for a former Premier League Golden Boot winner who comes in as a bargain priced asset in a Fulham side who are usually difficult to beat at Craven Cottage.
West Brom are certainly in form, but I think Berbatov grabs a goal or assist in the first start for his club to reward those 2% of fantasy managers who have taken the plunge.
There you have it. Pretty straightforward. Berbatov. A cheap sub-7m option at home. Class. Trickery. A Bulgarian’ widow’s peak. Your Funny Feeling Friday.

Great pick. If I had a free transfer available, felt I had to get one of Cazorla/Hazard in, I would be very tempted to bring Berbs in for Lambert, who in spite of his success last week doesn’t have me sold.
he’s only just moved to fulham and hasn’t done anything yet. once he scores a goal, his ownership will rocket. fulham to win today. 2-0
damn you did it again! i just came up on dimitar
