• David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard are friends, despite rivalry, but will the Manchester United goalkeeper rotation nightmare [for fantasy managers] continue?

• QPR’s Andy Johnson injured knee ligaments which will keep him out most of the season

• Tottenham’s Benoit Assou-Ekotto ruled out for 4 weeks. Kyle Naughton should offer short term cover and would be a FPL bargain replacement with 2 home games in the next 3 including QPR and Aston Villa – a clean sheet or two are likely.
