Wayne Rooney Out Four Weeks; RVP Scores

Wayne Rooney suffered a gashed leg today in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Fulham. He’s expected to miss up to 4 weeks of action.

Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa were the stars of the show for Sir Alex’s men, and Rooney didn’t even start the match, so fantasy managers will clearly focus in on these two in-form studs for the forthcoming fixtures. It will take an awfully risky fantasy manager to avoid drafting in one of RVP and/or Kagawa in the coming weeks, then.

Good luck to all fantasy managers.

With forwards such as tevez, and torres on form and potential from the likes of adebayor and a few cut priced options, im struggling to get the motivation to fork out the now 13.1 for RvP. Kagawa will have to be my way in to the man u attacking line.
Im an Arsenal fan so im double hoping that my ommision of our former captain pays off… Not much hope though.
