Regardless, Clint Dempsey is in high demand. He scored 23 goals for Fulham last season and is entering the final year of his contract.
At 29 years old, the American is at the peak of his powers and it would be interesting to see how he gets on at Liverpool in Rodgers’ attacking 4-3-3 system if he indeed does make the move.
Liverpool have admitted that they have spoken with Fulham and inquired about the player.
