Wayne Rooney an Injury Doubt with Hip Problem

170px Wayne Rooney vs Everton 2009 Wayne Rooney an Injury Doubt with Hip ProblemManchester United could be without their out-of-form yet talismanic striker this weekend as Wayne Rooney is suffering from a hip injury sustained in the 1-0 win at Stoke last weekend.

Rooney missed the team’s 2-2 Champions League draw yesterday and it looks like Hernandez and Welbeck are set to start this weekend at home against Newcastle.

Perhaps last year’s Golden Boot winner Dimitar Berbatov will return from the dead to provide Manchester United fans a Thanksgiving treat with a feast of goals?

I can deal with Hernandez and Welbeck up front. That way if a through ball gets played down the middle, someone will at least chase it. Berbatov isn’t good enough for United anymore and needs to be shipped out in January so that money can go towards buying a central midfielder that isn’t color blind.

Rough road this year. Can’t figure where it all went wrong ?
