Sergio Aguero has been ruled out of Argentina’s match with Bolivia today after suffering a groin injury in training.
With Carlos Tevez out of favor and Emmanuel Adebayor on loan at Tottenham, Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini will be left with just two fit strikers to choose from if Aguero doesn’t recover in time for the home match with Newcastle next Sunday.
The 11.3M Fantasy Premier League rated Aguero is owned by 35% of fantasy managers. Should the groin problem keep him out a few weeks, many of those managers could drop down to the cheaper Dzeko or Balotelli (8.5M each) or splurge for the in-form Robin van Persie.
