Tottenham new boy Emmanuel Adebayor could miss the club’s next Premier League game against Newcastle after picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win over Arsenal.
The striker didn’t shine as brightly as teammates Van der Vaart or Bale against the Gunners, but his presence and goalscoring ability going forward will be massive for Harry Redknapp’s club and their Champions League push.
As we wrote just a month ago, before Adebayor had even scored a single goal for his new club – “Let’s not forget Adebayor scored 24 league goals just a few seasons ago with Arsenal. 24.
