Here’s Cristiano Ronaldo scoring one of his three goals yesterday against Malaga. I miss CRon in the Fantasy Premier League for many reasons – but especially because I finished first in my mini-league in every season that he featured in England.
CRon was such an easy, automatic fantasy PL captain choice (everyone selected him as captain week over week) that the game was left to 10 v 10 and managers who built the strongest sides around him won. No captains, vice captains, or “double points” to worry about. The good old days…
