A bit of news as we head into another weekend of Premier League action…
- Carlos Tevez, unfortunately, doesn’t read our blog. It’s been confirmed that he doesn’t read, well, at all. Tevez failed to reply to a speeding ticket sent to his Manchester home. His excuse is that he “doesn’t read English.” Might actually be a positive for Tevez after his missed penalty last weekend against Wigan and poor Champions League substitute appearance last night against Napoli. I expect Dzeko and Aguero to start this weekend at Fulham in a tight away win. Perhaps 2-1.
- We spoke a lot about ‘form vs fixtures’ a few days ago (the classic fantasy manager’s dilemma or debate) so most fantasy managers will stick with ‘form’ and captain Wayne Rooney again at home against Chelsea this weekend. But Rooney failed to score yesterday on the road in Portugal. With RVP and Aguero both on the road, the Captain Decision this weekend (as usual) will be interesting – perhaps more varied – than it has been in the last few weeks.
- Speaking of Captain Choices – don’t forget about Leighton Baines entering the weekend. He’s on penalty kick duties now that Arteta is gone to Arsenal and Everton have Wigan at home. Wigan had kept it tight at the back in their first few matches but conceded 3 on the road at Manchester City last weekend. The likes of Tim Cahill, Leon Osman, and the aforementioned Baines could produce in a tight 2-0 win or so…

I think form is vital but it has also got to be about the fixture in a weekend where Wayne Rooney and the UTD boys are in a right home match the right start at Fulham could see another high scoring game for the blues. I think maybe a Dzeko as captain this weekend and as a UTD fan hope Wazza proves me wrong.
Interesting weekend made a few transfer changes for this weekend ad hope that may guys now go on a good run.
Trying to pick out penalty takers to fill in your other spots in your team is essential as they can always pick you up extra points.

You have to make a conscious effort to not learn the language to live and work in England for 5 years and still be on Tevez’s level.
