Rise and Shine: The Jay DeMerit Story

What a great footie story: USMNT and Vancouver Whitecaps centre back Jay Demerit.

I was fortunate enough to meet DeMerit last winter after he left Watford and just as he had begun his winter training camp with Vancouver and he was such a great, humble guy.

So I was happy when I found out that his story – a Yank who made it to the big time in England in the most unlikely fashion – was being told.

I just pledged to support the DeMerit film on KickStarter – and with 3 days left to support, you should send this around too. Great guy. Great story. The beautiful game.
