Carl Jenkinson Own Goal: Arsenal New Signing Scores a Beauty

As Piers Morgan said, “is this what Wenger meant by shoring up our defence?”

19 year old Carl Jenkinson, Arsenal’s new defensive signing this summer from Charlton Athletic, scored a wonderful own goal today in a pre-season match against Cologne.

In better news for the Gunners, their new signing Gervinho scored 2 goals within the first 20 minutes on his debut – in the same match. Will he be a viable Fantasy Premier League forward alongside Van Persie? The next Didier Drogba?
