Benayoun with a Brilliant Finish as Chelsea Win 3-0

No Essien? No problem. Yossi Benayoun scored a sensational double flick goal (embedded above) in Chelsea’s first pre-season game of the summer last night as the Blues beat Wycombe 3-0.

Fernando Torres also scored while defender Slobodan Rajkovic, who spent last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, also got in on the act during a 3-0 win.

Could Torres (who had no form whatsoever last season) and Benayoun (who spent the entire year injured) effectively become two ‘new’ signings for Chelsea this year and play a big part in Andres Villas-Boas’ new look side?
