Arsenal stud attacking midfielder Samir Nasri, who was excellent in the first half against Manchester United, dribbling around United right back Fabio on more than one occasion, is rated as 50-50 for the Gunners’ away match with Stoke this upcoming weekend.
Nasri was replaced at halftime in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over United with hamstring tightness, an injury which not only saw Andrei Arshavin get a 45 minute run-out, but also contributed to my 1-point loss in a Fantasy Premier League Head 2 Head Matchup – a substitution and hamstring problem that I will never forget…
Though it was only 2 weeks ago that Samir scored a beauty at Tottenham, with his hamstring problems, and a bad taste in my mouth after his early substitution / injury against United – you’d have to think fantasy managers can look to me as an example and drop the Frenchman for a Dutchman (Van der Vaart), Croat (Modric) or Welshman (Bale) this weekend.
