Funny Feeling Friday: Theo Walcott

theo walcott 1024x768 Funny Feeling Friday: Theo WalcottArsenal are still fighting for 3rd and have a massive game at Fulham this weekend but don’t count the Gunners out – even without the injured Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Arsenal have the best away form in the league, and even though he hasn’t scored or assisted in 4 straight games, Theo Walcott is our last funny feeling of the season.

Walcott is only 7M and should start and feed off of Robin van Persie and potentially Andrei Arshavin against Fulham. Mark Hughes’ men may be coming off of a clean sheet against Birmingham but lost their last home game 5-2 against Liverpool.

5-2. Of course, Hughes will tighten up the back at Craven Cottage and they won’t concede 5 to Arsenal, but Walcott has the pace to put one or two past Fulham – who will look to play some attacking football in front of their home fans on the season’s final day and could be susceptible to the counter-attack.

He’s only 7M, and despite the lack of form and away fixtures, he’s my pick. Theo Walcott.

Good luck to all fantasy managers.

  1. I’m dropping Rooney for Carlito.

  2. Arsenal really need victory at the Cottage to keep the critics off their backs. For me van Persie is the obvious capatin choice but Walcott could be a handy alternative if the Gunners come out firing on all cylinders!
