Funny Feeling Friday (#3): Martin Petrov

PETROV Funny Feeling Friday (#3): Martin Petrov

Petrov returns on Fridays...

I must have a soft spot for Martin Petrov, Bolton’s Bulgarian winger, as this is not the first, not the second, but the third time he is featured as FFF selection:

Here’s why. Petrov is owned by only 1% of fantasy managers. Petrov has not scored a goal in the league in 2011. The last time he scored was in a 2-2 draw against Blackpool last November. That’s the bad news. The good news? He plays twice this gameweek, and costs only 5M in the FPL. He’s got the likes of Sturridge and Davies up front to finish his crosses.

Third time the charm for Petrov and Bolton or will the likes of Chung-Yong Lee, Elmander, Davies, and Sturridge hog all the attacking points and leave the Bulgarian out of the fantasy scoring?

Up to you to decide, but I’m long Petrov.
