Carlos Tevez has torn a muscle in his groin and is in a race against time to be fit for Manchester City’s April 3rd clash with Sunderland.
With the uncertainty surrounding Berbatov vs Hernandez as Manchester United’s # 2 striking option, the clear replacement for the Argentine stud must be Wayne Rooney – getting into form and incredibly unlucky not to have scored or assisted this past Sunday in the 1-0 home win against Bolton.
Tevez out, and Rooney in for fantasy managers looking to spend a similar amount of cash on a high-priced striking replacement.
Good luck to all managers.

Ha! I’m set with four strikers! Flush!
RVP is a better option than Rooney.
ya, a more fragile option
Ben’s right. But That’s why I have both strikers, plus Tevez, plus a cheap, but reliable back-up striker. I am so set! What can happen? LOL!
Currently I have Van Glass Legs, Tevez and Odemwingie. VPersie looks ok for the time being unless he break something. If Tevez is injured, Rooney is the obvious replacement unless you want a heavyweight midfield you can try on Junior Hoilett, Demba Ba, Bent, DJ Campbell since the relegation battle royale looks very intimidating
