Funny Feeling Friday. Real quick one.
Wigan play Fulham at home this week then have a double gameweek next week (wildcard time – start bringing in your Wigan (?!?!) players…)
Ben Watson is owned by 0.1% of fantasy managers. No one owns him. He only costs 4.2M.
Buying Watson will allow you to spend your money on bringing in a big hitter like Torres, Rooney, Dzeko, Tevez, Van Persie, Lampard, Malouda or Fabregas going forward.
Watson is cheap. Wigan have great fixtures. N’Zogbia, Watson’s teammate, is great value as well at 5.5M and a better ‘long term’ selection but comes with a massive caveat – he could be shopped in the transfer window and end up at Sunderland, Liverpool, or even abroad. That’s a risk you take with Charlie…
Not with Ben though. 4.2m and an attacking central midfielder on set pieces. Superb for a 5th midfielder. Expect an assist at least and perhaps even a goal or bonus points in the next two gameweeks, not bad for a 4.2m bench 5th midfielder…
Good luck to all fantasy managers. Lastly – if you have 15 seconds to spend – could you please visit this San Fran music magazine and vote for fellow blog reader and footie fan ‘Michael Musika’ for best emerging artist. Musika, as his name suggests, is a superb musician, but not only that – is an accomplished winger with speed similar to Theo Walcott. A footie fan and musical artist, the perfect combination. Thanks in advance for your vote!
