Arshavin Injures Hamstring

Arsenal’s tricky Russian Andrei Arshavin is set for a spell on the sidelines after being substituted in the match against Liverpool yesterday with a hamstring problem.


This has been the year of the hamstring injury in the Premier League.


Darren Bent did his.


Yossi Benayoun and Steven Gerrard did theirs.


Cesc Fabregas did his.


Wayne Rooney did his.


What is it with the physiotherapists in the UK this year? Some simple R-I-C-E treatment or at least a horse placenta massage or two should clear up these hamstring problems, but these top performers are dropping like flies.
